Hi Everyone! I’m glad you’re here today! I have a really cool room to show you! Check this out:

Contemporary Living Room

Pretty visually stunning isn’t it! I know it’s not for everyone but this look is up-and-coming! Whether it’s perfect for you or not, there are some neat ideas that you can incorporate into your next remodeling project.

Take a look at this short video and I’ll tell you more about it! Oh, and this one IS short; only 2:00 minutes

I hope you liked it! The great thing is that even if you didn’t like this, you’re still closer to your dream remodel having watched it. Now at least you know one more thing you don’t want!

Personally, I like the look but wouldn’t want to live in a place so “sterile”! But I really like the use of the bumped out wall sections! I can see using that in an outdoor entertaining area, a kids bedroom, along a long hallway, any number of places!

What are your thoughts? I’d love to hear them!

Hi Tim! Great video again. The room looks like it is just DYING for four children to run through it with dirty hands and feet! Oh, and of course, a black lab to make the accent color really POP!! :)
Blessings today.

I’m not really a fan of contemporary style or that green color. :) But I do love the HUGE windows and the open living space. And the wall sections are interesting, not sure how I feel about them. But maybe in a kids’ room – and put more holes to use as shelves/cubbies!

I like contemporary to an extent. This feels just a little bit sterile to me. Maybe if it had more color? I love the green accent wall and how it mimicks the shape of the fireplace. What a cool idea..wish it would work on my ugly woodstove…lol! Thanks for the DIY tutorial! I might have to talk my hubby into doing something like this in the bonus room we will be working on this year!

I absolutely love the wood floors, the light in the space and I think the fireplace is stunning!

So on the green wall I’m assuming the white squares are cut out and could be used to hold books, trinkets, candles, etc?

Thanks for adding the video to explain the photo further. I really enjoyed that touch!

Hi Tim! I really enjoyed this video! I enjoyed listening to your thoughts about the aspects of the room you pointed out. You seemed very comfortable talking through this/recording this which made for a smooth listening experience.

Look forward to moving another step closer to my dream home! Thanks!
