The tile guys were here this morning and ripped out my countertops, and the marble and granite go in on Wednesday. Needless to say, we are doing the happy beagle dance, and we'll only be without a sink and stove for 4 days. Cheers from the sunny central California desert! So convenient. I'm always amazed at howm any people never paint their front doors. They are beyond boring. I know painting's not at all fun and seems to take forever, but seriously it's so worth it. Of course now I'm wishing I could find some good wicker furniture at a yard sale but all anyone wants to sell here is baby stuff. Hello, I have enough of that. I need some pictures of some more um...humble homes that have great curb appeal, especially around the front door area. All the homes on the decorating shows are too fancy. What about those of us with a REALLY regular looking house? A wreath? No, the storm door is in the way.
