Staging Your Home For Sale: A Series

by Tim Layton

in Home Staging,The Nester

I’m only working on about four hours sleep after a long drive home from North Carolina, but I woke up excited this morning!

Staging Button

The Nester and I were talking about “what to do” when making a house ready for sale and we realized that Home Staging isn’t just for sellers!

Head over to Nesting Place to read the first post in the series! I’m going to fetch some coffee first!

If you just hopped over from there, please take a look around and be sure to come back tomorrow for my quick-guide to Baseboards and Shoe-Moldings (different than shoes molding). For the intro to that series, check here.

What a great series!! I’m living it right now, actually, as we’re finishing staging our 3rd home! (as in, the 3rd house we’ve sold, not like I have 2 more houses in fabulous exotic places!). I totally believe staging works for selling but also makes your house amazing while you live there! I’m really looking forward to this series! :)

Can’t wait to hear your tips! Your favorite admirer…. in a purely business sense of course.

So, did you call her the Nester the whole time? Kidding. I can’t wait to see your tips on baseboards and shoe-moldings.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I found your blog via the nester, and I found you on Twitter via your blog. Yep, you, the Nester, and Martha are the first three people I am following! Martha should feel proud to be in the top three with the two of you!

I really enjoy reading your blog. I’m disabled and can’t actually do most of what you write about, but I enjoy learing about design, crafting, and do-it-yourself projects. Maybe some day I’ll be able to do all of these ideas that I have swirling around in my head. If not, that’s okay. It’s fun to learn!
