Off to Paint The Cabinet Door

Hey Crew! I was MIA yesterday because I finally started cleaning up my shop and that is quite an undertaking. I’m heading back there now to paint the cabinet door before it gets too hot.

When it’s really hot, the paint tends to set-up too fast and won’t “lay out”. With a finish coat, especially applied with a brush, you want it to stay wet for a little bit. If I really wanted ideal conditions I would wait for a rainy day because the humidity would help. But I think it’s plenty humid around here anyway!

There are a couple of recent posts on RG:Grande! if you missed them earlier in the week. All about how to find a great contractor, and my thoughts on contractor referral websites.

Have a great day!
