I have a couple of items of personal business to share quickly…

  • some pretty stuff my wife is selling like hotcakes
  • the new links to my Twitter and Facebook pages
  • a note about my new business blog

Pretty Stuff

My wife, Kim, has been really selling her great new Lavender Filled Sachets in her Etsy Shop, The Lavender Road. Take a look…

These wonderful smelling little pillows are great gifts (Kim says they make wonderful “hostess gifts” whatever that is…) They were actually featured on the front page of Etsy the other day! That was a first for Kim who has been selling on Etsy for over a year now.

These are really selling fast as folks buy them for inexpensive gifts (about $15), but lets help her sell more! The Lavender Road

Twitter and Facebook

I’m making some changes with Twitter and Facebook.  Rather than having a seperate account for Remodeling Guy, I’m just keeping everything under my personal name to keep me from trying to be in too many places, which can be tough. Here are the links:

My Business – New Website

Logo

I have a new website up for my remodeling and construction business in Tampa.

I played around with a few new career ideas over the last few months, but the more time passed, the more and more I missed the jobsite. I missed the work, the ideas, the big smiles of happy customers, my big smile when they wrote the check, and (don’t tell them) I missed the guys I worked with.

So, after a short break, I’m back at it and, Lord willing and the creek don’t rise, I’ll be at it for a long, long, long time. Here is the website: LaytonContracting.com

I’ll still be here blogging, of-course.  I’m not going anywhere.

If anyone you know lives in the Tampa Bay Area… I have a blank schedule and a whole lot of stored-up energy! I’m ready for work!

(and if you don’t know anyone in Tampa but want to help-out… the more links I get to my company website, the better it will do in Google for people searching for a contractor in Tampa…I’m just sayin’)

Laurelstreet – I’m not going anywhere! Did I make it sound that way? I just meant I couldn’t blog as a “living”, but I enjoy doing the blog and I’ll continue, Lord willing!
