If the post above seems familiar, it’s because you might have seen it before at RG:Select. Longtime readers will remember that I tried having four “specialty” blogs in addition to the main blog. I realized after-the-fact that there really wasn’t much benefit to doing that. Better to have everything in one place and use the categories to help readers find it. (I’ll be reworking the categories to be more useful in the near future).
Unlike in remodeling, I don’t have decades of experience with blogging. I guess me blogging is sort of like many of you remodeling, sometimes you make mistakes, sometimes you think you’re crazy for trying, and sometimes you just want to give-up! You might even go so far as to holler out in frustration… “I quit!”. Imagine that.
But, put down your tools, walk away for a day or two, and it doesn’t look so bad anymore. (and if you’re lucky only your dog saw you lose it!)
So mixed in with some new content, I’m moving the posts from those other sites here. Most of you never made it over to the other blogs anyway, so these will all be new to you. I hope you find it useful!

Good plan. I wondered if that’s what you were doing. And although, I did try to get to the specialty sites, just one site with categories is really much easier to keep track of (and add to my favorites list!). I wish I had a dog … to blame for the mess in my girls’ bedroom!

Fabulous! I only discovered your blog a month or so ago from the Nester so it will be largely new to me. I am really glad that you haven’t ‘quit’ we need remodeling guys like you!
