Totally bought my husband this set in 2005 from Menards--love, love, LOVE this set. Best tool we have EVER purchased. The gun AND the compressor are real workhorses. Then again, Senco has never the type to bring forth anything less than quality!
This pair has never failed us and has been our right hand tool for many, many jobs in "this old house"!! From trim to furniture building and subfloor to crafty what-nots... it's all we need!!

Hi Tricia! I really appreciate your comments and your encouragement! Just like the rest of you, I loooooovvvee comments!

Your comment brought up a big major deal... I didn't think about this when I wrote the post... the thing your husband is referring to about needing a larger compressor might be because he wants to run more than one air tool at a time. I used to use a larger compressor and three or four tools.

That's what I love about this combo set... it really is like one tool. You just get a bonus air compressor for filling up rafts, tires, and it will run your other air nailers.

But the point I'm not really making very clearly is that it may very well be that an additional compressor might eliminate the need for a larger compresser, and large compressors are usually $400 or more.

You might want to ask him what he needs... Fathers Day around the corner... or even Valentines Day... forget the chocolates, get me an air nailer!

My husband loves his brad nailer, but I have been informed that Spring will be arriving soon and that a lot of projects will require a bigger compressor. Hhmmm...
