I love it! I also love charcoal- especially blackened baked potatoes! YUM!
Oh I love this! Can’t wait to show my hubby!!
We live in the Pacific NW… it is still in the 50’s and raining – so seeing your Tiki Bar just made me look forward to those warmer months! I’d love to get some ideas for our yard… we live on a large lot and will be killing most of everything back there in the next month or two. But, we have lots of evergreens… an island of three in the middle of our yard that would be the perfect spot for a hammock – other than that all I see is potential – no vision.
I would love to hear more of your outdoor ideas for different climates and budgets…
Thanks again for all the wonderful ideas and encouragement!
Jenni
We too live in the Pacific NW…so mostly rain and grey skies over here…
I love the colorful accents to your tiki bar. And you are making my mouth water with the thought of outdoor BBQ!
Wow…four hours? Alone or with help? Power tools or old-fashioned hammer and nails?
Awesome backyard bar and grill!!!
We’re in an apartment right now, so no bar and grill for us, but I’m filing this idea away for the future. It looks simple enough that we could do it! My husband loves to grill, so I know it would get lots of use.
Can’t wait to see it in person.
One day. Or one year.
It looks fantastic. And I love those boats on the fence. Purely for decoration right?
Well, how awesome is this?
oh. My. goodness. We’re buying a house with an unlandscaped backyard and my husband wants a built-in grill. I’m sure we could modify the tiki bar to encompass a tiki grill, too!
You MUST share a how-to. Your place looks like a GREAT place to hang out.
How very cool!!! I need a Tiki Bar now! I will have to think on it!
You guys are just too much fun. I love this. We would get ALOT of use out of one in our back yard.
I love it! I have a list of outdoor projects I want for our home – the question is, where to start?
Oh, a how-to pretty please! Hubby would LOVE this!
Hey there, RG!
This is the first time I’ve been to your site. I signed up for your newsletter and downloaded your e-book. Thank you. I love this tiki bar and would love it if you would come up with the plans for it to share with us. I know my husband would just LOVE for me to give him one more project for his ever-increasing list!
Thanks,
Pam
Great looking tiki bar. It really makes me miss my Florida backyard (I’m in North Texas now) with the palms and banana trees.
Love it, love it, love it!!! Please develop and share the plans!!! This is exactly what I was looking for.
Just found this, Its fantastic, It is just what we have been looking for, it would fit nicely in a corner next to our pool, can you furnish any plans or measurements? Any ideas for a permanent roof?
I would LOVE the plans for the Tiki bar. My husband and I love the one you designed. Any chance you would share the plans????
Awesome backyard! Just the kind of thing I’ve been looking for. One question, though…where do you live? I’m in Wisconsin and this scene would be covered in snow for about 4 or 5 months each year. I’m wonder ing how it would hold up in the “arctic.”
Oh yeah, one more thing. Where did you buy the bamboo?
