One of the things I love about the concept of smaller homes is the idea that they can be small, but awesome! If you want to include a little bit of luxury in your bathroom remodel, try this:

Towel Warmers are pretty nifty little gadgets if you ask me. They not only look great, but they work great too. I’ve installed them in some projects, but only had the opportunity to enjoy one once at a nice hotel in New Zealand. I know, I know…poor baby.
The last model I installed was the one above, from Amba. When I did some research, it seemed that they were the front-runner in the wide-world of towel warmers. Here is anothet of their models:

How cool is that? If I recall, the cost of these really isn’t that bad, depending on the model and the finish of course.
If you’re remodeling a bathroom, it might be worth a look! What could be nicer than stepping out of the shower on a cold morning and wrapping yourself in a nice, warm, fluffy, towel?
Sounds good to me!

I wanted a towel warmer but didn’t want to spend anything on one so… I took a PVC pipe about two feet long, drilled some holes in it, capped off one end and attached a spare hair dryer to the other end. I hang it on my towel rack and place a towel over the rack. Before the shower I turn it on and by the time I am done with the shower the towel is toasty and warm. It has worked fine for almost a year. I am sure this isn’t up to code or up to snuff but it works.
