Sorry To See You Go!

March 11, 2010 – I’m trying new software for sending email list emails. If you’re unsubscribing because of some technical thing (like getting ten copies or something) please let me know what that is so I can fix it! For all reasons, see below:

It appears that you’ve selected to unsubscribe from the Remodeling Guy email list. I know from my own experience that probably means you have way too many emails and the one you just got from me didn’t provide enough value to warrant space in your in-box! I understand that and I apologize.

An unsubscription confirmation email is on it’s way to you right now. Once you confirm, you’ll be all set! I hope you still come by the blog.

If you have a second, I’d like to try and convince you to stay. I’m working hard to find the right mix of useful content for RG readers. In a world with millions of blogs (and a sizeable percentage of those related to homes) it’s not an easy task.

I would love to hear from you about what kind of emails you were hoping for when you signed-up. The more detailed you can be, the better able I’ll be to improve future emails and blog posts.

I’ll hear you and, if it’s within my ability, I’ll try and improve future emails based on your input. If you’d like to stay around and see if I can get it right, simply don’t confirm the unscubscribe email you should have in your in-box.

(I could be wrong about how this works… if the confirmation email says “You are now unsubscribed or something along those lines, and you decide to stay with me, you’ll have to subscribe again following the link provided in the message… I’m learning this new software, sorry!)
